Make a statement by adding this wonderful
ornamental to your landscape. Large, white
spring flowers, red berries in late summer, scarlet
foliage in the fall, and a lovely silhouette in
winter. Best grown in open, shady areas. Reaches
15-25 ft. tall. Bareroot. Zones 5-8. This item ships only in the spring.

Product Details
Zones: 5 - 8 (-20 degrees F). Height: 15 - 25 feet tall, vase shaped, strong. Spacing: 18 - 20 feet. Depth: Soak the roots 2 - 6 hours before planting. Dig a hole large enough to accommodate the roots without bending them. Plant so the stain on the trunk is the same level as previously planted. Work the soil around the roots. Spread: 18 - 20 feet. Sun/Shade: Full sun to partial shade. Color: White, blossoms are not fragrant. Foliage: Elliptic to ovate leaves, purple and scarlet in the fall. Blooms: Early Summer for several weeks.

A beautiful horizontal branching habit on a vase shaped silouette that is attractive year-round, large showy flowers, large red fruit in late Summer - Fall and handsome foliage that turns a rich scarlet in the Fall. As the tree matures the bark exfoliates, developing a beautiful mottled coloration in grey, cinnamon, brown and beige. The "flowers" are on 1" - 1 1/2" stems and lay flat on top of the foliage, covering the whole tree in a drift of color. A magnificent tree for all seasons. Best grown in open shade.
