This outstanding, cold-hardy variety successfully withstands harsh temperatures down to -30 degrees F! Covered with bright yellow bloom trusses in late spring. The attractive dark green foliage turns various shades of red during the autumn months. Does best in full to partial shade. 3-5 ft. tall shrub has good resistance to mildew, pests and disease. Potted plants. Zones 4-8.

This item ships at the proper planting time for your region in both spring and fall.

Thriving azalea
Reviewed By: Lynn McCurdy (Spring Lake, Michigan)
Bought two plants, which were small on arrival. Planted in partial shade, good natural humus/moisture suitable to azaleas near the lake. Both are thriving and more than doubled in size (other azaleas and rhododendrons like the setting too). Trillium and woodpoppies (from Gurney's) like the same area, as well as hellebores, wild ferns, etc.

I do not recommend getting this plant if you mulch with rocks...it does not like it at all!! It is not thriving well in areas where I have rocks, but does fine in other spots.
