As it grows, it forms corms which hold moisture for the plants allowing it to withstand drought conditions and still look great. It is fairly fast growing, reaching 24" in as little as 4 weeks. Enjoy a nice rounded, bushy perennial that also never needs pruning. The spent blooms fall off to make room for new ones.
