Grows larger and ripens earlier in the North than regular habañeros—but with all the same kick. These 4-in. lantern-shaped peppers heat up the garden with a beautiful color display—ranging from lime green through orange to red as they ripen—before raising the temperature of your favorite dishes. Great for seasoning, salsa, hot sauce or roasting. 70 DAYS.

Seed counts: 100 seeds sow a 20-ft. row.

Seeds will be shipped within 5-10 days of your order.

Plants ship only in the spring. If our spring shipping season is closed, your order will be shipped the following spring.

Fruit: Elongated, wrinkled lantern shaped fruit ripening from lime-green to shade of orange & red to bright scarlet at full ripeness
Comments: A habanero for the north. Ripens earlier, is larger and more productive in the north than regular habaneros but with all the heat. Tall plants are strong and vigourous. Peppers are as pretty as they are firery (putting on an ever-changing color display as they ripen from lime-green through orange to red. 100,000 - 350,000 scoville rating.
