My son and I now bring our sprouts to Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. I harvested the last of these about 2 weeks before Christmas. They are tight, compact buds, and they kept well in the refrigerator for 2 weeks! So wonderful to have garden fresh vegetables in December!

I grew brussel sprouts for the first time last year. These were WONDERFUL. I have a 4 year old girl who begged for them after she had a taste. Mine continued to grow all year too. I planted in early spring and they continued to produce on into late fall if I picked the sprouts off the plant rather than pick the whole plant at once. Already have more in the ground this year.

We love brussels sprouts and last year was the first time I'd grown them. Every plant produced massive amounts, but you'll have to figure out a way to control cabbage worms - they love them too! I will plant these again.
