Sun/Shade: Full sun to partial shade.
Color: Spears start out green and turn purple at maturity.
Foliage: Very fine, airy, ferny foliage, will grow to be 4-6' tall.

Comments: This asparagus is sweeter than common green asparagus. Unique mild nutty flavor when cooked. Harvest spears when 6-10 inches tall and leaf bracts at tips are still tightly closed. Feathery foliage is a good backdrop to other perennial plantings and lovely used as greenery in bouquets. Hardy to -30 degrees F., RESTRICTED STATES, AE, AK, GU, HI, PR.
