impressive growth

I planted this 2 yrs ago to the date at about 2 feet off the ground. It has grown over ten feet, and if it wasn't for pruning it would be 12ft tall. last yr after only a yr in the ground we recieve 4 flowers that unfortunately didn't pollinate. Even the branching structure is impressive. it naturally branches out instead of straight up like most pears. Quite a few flower buds this spring hope to have my first taste :-).

surprisingly large

I just received my tree last week and was very surprised on how large it was. I was over a half inch caliber and was easily three and a half feet tall. This was with pruning of over a foot. I know this is a little pre-mature but i was impressed compared to other nurseries i've ordered from.
