Huge juicy pears are honey sweet and delightfully crisp. Round
golden russet fruits can reach up to a pound, and mature trees
bear very heavy yields. The easiest care pear you can grow, Drippin’
Honey has few problems with pests or disease, and requires
very little to no spraying. Maturing in October, you can still be
enjoying these sweet treats in April, as they will hold up to six
months in the refrigerator! Zones 5-8. PPAF. This item ships only in the spring.
If our spring shipping season is closed, your order will be shipped the following spring.

Zones: 5-8 Height: Standard size 16-20 ft Semi-dwarf 12 - 15 ft Spacing: Standard: 16 ft Semi-dwarf: 10 - 12 ft Depth: Keep 2 inches of the rootstock above the soil line. Spread: Stanadard 16 ft Semi-dwarf 10 - 12 ft Sun/Shade: Full sun Pollinator: Olympic Giant, Chojuro, Ornamental pear- i.e Bradford, Cleveland Yield: 3 - 6 bushels at maturity Color: fruit is orange/brown russet when fully mature
| Foliage: Large, waxy dark green leaves, reddish orange in the fall Blooms: early to mid season Fruit: Round golden russet fruits can reach up to a pound, very crisp, super sweet. Comments: Rich butterscotch flavor. Heavy annual thinning of the fruit is required to attain decent fruit quality. Fruit has long storage; 6 months in common refrigeration. It has grown over ten feet, and if it wasn't for pruning it would be 12ft tall. last yr after only a yr in the ground we recieve 4 flowers that unfortunately didn't pollinate. Even the branching structure is impressive. it naturally branches out instead of straight up like most pears. impressive growth
