Reviewed By: Brad (Middleton, Idaho) I planted 3 mounds of this cantaloupe this year. They are coming off now and are by far the biggest and sweetest mellons I have ever had. They grew well here in Idaho and the plants produced MANY mellons. The flavor is just unbelievably mouth watering!!! - Sunday, August 22, 2010Willing to try again Reviewed By: Dave (Westfield, MA) I didn't know how to rate this melon. All the plants died of fungus about 2-3 weeks before picking. I also grew Sweet-n-early melon and Sugar baby watermelon. Both were untouched by the fungus. I will try again next year with the use of fungus sprays. I hope I will have better luck. - Saturday, January 02, 2010Superstar Indeed! Reviewed By: Tamara (Plano, TX) I have been planting this melon every year from the same packet of 2003 Gurney seeds, believe it or not. Given adequate space, they produce huge, very tasty melons with few, if any, problems. Two thumbs up. Read More Reviews |
