This is the first year that I have planted cabbage. This has to be some of the best cabbage I have ever tasted. Good tight heads and a great flavor whether boiled or made into coleslaw. So tight my 89 year old grandfather used a hammer and a knife to cut it up.

They re-sprouted with 2-3 small heads that could be used like Brussels sprouts when cut a little high for main harvest.

I have raised the Stonehead very good. I like making my one sour kraut. Or just cooking or salads.
