Hats off to Derby! It sets big crops of long, stringless pods that are tender, flavorful and up to 7 in. long. Upright plants are easy to harvest; beans slip easily from stems. Displays good resistance to bean mosaic virus. 57 DAYS.

Seed counts: A 2-oz. packet of snap bean seeds (bush and pole) contains about 150 seeds and sows a 25-ft. row. A 2-oz. packet of lima bean seeds (bush and pole) contains about 50 seeds and sows a 15-ft row.

This item ships at the proper planting time for your region in both spring and fall.
If the current shipping season is closed, your order will ship at the proper time in the next season.

Hats off to Derby

I have grown Derby for 4 years and been very pleased every year, regardless of the weather, hot & dry or too wet. Very nice shaped, tender, stringless beans for a long growing season with no viruses.

Best Bush Bean Ever
Reviewed By: Dave Harris (Plain City, OH)
I've been growing bush beans in Central Ohio for over 40 years. I have never found any to compare to the Derby Bean. They produce all summer long and they stay tender and flavorful way past the time other beans have grown stringy and starchy. They are also very productive and seem to be rust resistant in this area. This is a real winner.
