Fabulous for fresh eating, juice and sauce, this crunchy, mildly tart apple is much like an easy-to-grow version of McIntosh. Resists scab, fire blight and cedar apple rust—the name actually refers to the breeder’s quest to free the grower from endless spraying! Ripens early Oct. Zones 5-8.

I was very pleasently surprised when I opened the box last week and a well rooted robust tree was revealed. Certainly not your typical mailorder stock. Very nice!

Not impressed

Got my tree this week. Man this thing is small with no branches. Not impressed with the development of the tree at all. I would think the thing would have a couple branches at least. Save your money and got to a local nursrey and buy somthing that is already established.
