I ordered 2 pints of these shallots for planting in early spring. Each pint contained 70 shallots. I planted them in black plastic mulch rows. Out of the 140 bulbs, only about 3 of them did not grow. The rest grew into large clusters with 3-6 shallots resulting from each bulb. These homegrown shallots were much prettier and larger than the ones that you find in the grocery stores. Will definitely buy again. Note: I have planted these last year in a raised bed without a black plastic mulch covering, and did not have any luck growing them. The mulch definitely makes a difference.

Picked some and tried them, first time I ever tried this type of onion. I will order twice as many next year.
