My sister-in-law has planted this in their garden and it is delicious. Large stems are not tough, my kids love to grab one right out of the garden and eat it raw. Fantastic flavor and texture. We will be planting our own soon!

I feel the purple is the best. They are so sweet, I eat them raw right out of the garden. I referred to Gurney's planting guide and had a 90% success rate. I had great yields the third year. Do yourself a favor and try the purple passion.
