Color: Crimson/Strawberry
Foliage: Green, Grasslike
Blooms: Almost Everblooming
Comments: One of the bests reds. Vigorous. Keep soil moist, but not soggy. Incorporate generous amounts of peat moss, compost or well-rotted manure into the soil. Be careful not to overfertilize. May be divided every three years as needed. Cut leaves back to 3-4 inches in fall. Drought and heat resistant.

Couple years ago we bought these & the flowers are purple. We decided to try again & bought these same flowers this year. Again the flowers are purple. Yes, the daylilies are very pretty but we would have liked the red color.
