Black-Eyed SusanThe True Perennial—Back
by Popular Demand
(4 customer reviews)Striking color contrast! Layers of sunshine-bright copper-gold petals radiate out from a large, dark center. Blooms heavily from midsummer to frost; grows 2-3 ft. tall. A longtime favorite for cut bouquets. Spreads to fill an area fast. Easy to grow—tolerates a wide range of conditions but prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Bareroot. Zones 4-9. This plant attracts butterflies. This item ships at the proper planting time for your region in both spring and fall. If the current shipping season is closed, your order will ship at the proper time in the next season. Product Details

They are starting to show some green now and I decided to dig up several of the new plants and put them in pots so I can share with my family. I sure love how well these spread to fill in an area. - Monday, March 22, 2010Black Eyed Suzies Reviewed By: Tay (Farmington , Maine) Need to fill a bland bed fast? Black Eyed Susans are the right thing! We have a whole bed of them that is over 8 feet long with only a few plants! I'm excited to try purple coneflowers some day as well. - Thursday, March 12, 2009blackeye susans Reviewed By: mary (36048, ga) I gave it a five star because the flower is beautiful. I would not recommend buying this from Gurneys, the flower I purchased never came up. I called and they said I could get a replacement. They said I could wait. I decided to wait until next year (before my year ran out) to order. 1 week before the time ran out I FAXED my order. They refused to accept it. They said it had to be mailed. By then it was to late. I feel cheated and lied to by this company. In my opinion there are alot better places to buy from. Read More Reviews |
