Stately plumes wave 5-7 ft. in the air. Dark green summertime foliage turns burnished copper in winter. Ornamental clumps, 3-4 ft. high, bloom in autumn. Adds height and texture to dried arrangements. Does well in full sun to partial shade. Bareroot. Zones 5-9.

Comments: If soil is heavy or clay-like, incorporate generous amounts of peat moss, well-rotted manure, or compost into the soil. Cut down flower stalks in the spring. New growth will emerge from the base. Plumes make good cut or dried flowers for arrangements. May be used as border or specimen planting. Habit is graceful and upright.

Soooo beautiful and looks bluish green JUST like the picture!!! Well packaged in small cubes housed in protective tall housing. I plan to reuse the housing and pots. The plants are about 4" or more tall even though dormant-I received them perfectly healthy and a joy to place into the ground (heeled in).Thank you Gurney's Seed Co.!
