Beautiful, fragrant blooms during late spring. Fully double white flowers have a rich, sweet perfume that lingers in the garden as well as in bouquets. Grows 5-7 ft. tall. Prefers full sun to partial shade. Bareroot. Zones 3-8.
This plant attracts butterflies.

Zones: 3 - 8 (-30° F.)
Height: 6-7 ft
Spacing: 4-6 ft
Depth: Soak root or entire shrub 2-6 hours and prepare a hole 18" deep
Spread: 4-5 ft
Sun/Shade: full-part sun
Color: white
Foliage: medium green
Blooms: May-early June
Comments: If soil is heavy, mix with peat moss, dehydrated manure, or compost. Hold shrub in hole with previous planting stain at ground level. Spread roots; add soil to fill 1/2 way; compact soil; complete filling; compact soil again; water well. Unique characteristics--- very fragrant. May not bloom for 3-5 years until a mature bloom state is reached. Makes good cut flowers; blooms will last longer if foliage is removed. Use as a lone specimen or as massing hedges.

There was a Mock Orange bush next to the back door of my grandparents "farm" as I was growing up. I never forgot it! Now that my husband and I have our own home (Age 65 & 74; VA FINALLY agreed he was in VietNam and was due his benefits!) we are planning a fantastic garden on our 1 acre. 2 bushes will be ordered shortly...this was the ONLY place I could find it, so I will be doing MORE shopping with you. Our home will be filled with that WONDERFUL perfume!! THANK YOU!!!!

Butterflies LOVE this plant!

We recently moved to a place that had two bushes (that`s it 2). My husband discovered something amazing, and said I just had to see it. These two mock orange bushes were in full bloom and were absolutely covered with butterflies. They have the sweetest scent that just fills the air. I took many pretty photos and will never forget that day!

I was shocked with how quickly the dormant twigs took life. If you follow the directions provided it is fool proof. I have quite a knack for killing perfectly good plants, but these are thriving and beautiful!!! I look forward to the fragrant blooms in the years to come.
