| Comments: Cherries do not like wet feet. Do not soak trees for over 24 hours, prior to planting. If fertilized planting only use a slow release fertilizer. Attract bees and birds. Leaves and twigs are poisonous.Sweet cherry. Very vigorous, productive tree. Fruit is moderately crack resistant. Planting: If using clay soil, incorporate 1/3 sand and 1/3 compost or composted manure. Planting site should have excellent drainage. Fill hole with water, should be completely drained in 1/2 hour.
