Very effective. Have had up over a year now. Our tempting vegetables grow right up against the fence and have been untouched. Use u-bent wire stakes along bottom to keep out smaller critters. - Monday, August 22, 2011It works. Reviewed By: Tina (Colorado Springs, Colorado) Deer don't enter our garden anymore, since putting this fence up 4 years ago. It really only protects against deer, though. Rabbits chew right through it, which called for chicken wire reinforcement! Tip: use fishing line to strengthen and mend fence. We used 4x4 posts and large zip ties to attach. - Tuesday, May 05, 2009Tore easily Reviewed By: Nathan (Buffalo, NY) I bought this and used it to put a fence around my garden. I didn't put too much tension on it and it still ripped, which was disappointing. Because of this, I can't imagine that it would do a very good job keeping critters from getting you plants. Also, I went to a big home store a few days after this arrived and I saw it for half the price. Otherwise I like Gurneys and have been pleased so far with my other purchases. Read More Reviews |
