The berries grew fast and they were abundant in size as well as taste. I enjoy eating them when they have been on the vine for a few days. They have a wonderful taste when they become soft. I love these berries and this will be the second growing season and already I have twice as many shoots as I did last year. Keep up the good work Gurneys! - Saturday, March 24, 2012Delicious Reviewed By: Nickie (Augusta, GA) I ordered to of these last spring, and they grew in so well with tons of berries the first year. They are also the best raspberries I've ever had. The only problem I have with them is that I never have any left over. The berries go straight from the plant to my mouth!! - Tuesday, June 28, 2011Very Good Purchase Reviewed By: Christian (East Northport, New York) Planted two when they arrived in March. Didn't expect anything for at least a year. But surprise! Both are producing. The berries are huge and they have a sweet and different flavor. This year we will have about 20 berries per plant. Not bad for these little guys... for their first year. My daughters and I love them. - Sunday, May 01, 2011Amazing Reviewed By: Russ (BROOKLYN, confused) These are the most Amazing Raspberries I have ever grown. I started with 3 canes 3 years ago and now have 6 permanent bushes, My yard space is 20 ft by 3 ft and I have plenty of room for other plants. Annes will grow well in pots, My canes berry from earl summer to late fall with the largest yeild coming at the end of fall (though the berries continue even after first frost). The only draw back with Annes is that they can be highly invasive. They send out underground runners in spring that travel quite a distance but as thee runner and root system is very thin and small Annes don't interfere with other plants. The berry is very sweet ,but soft. The canes can grow tall (12 ft) but can be trimmed and will still produce) They would Make a great Natural Fence and bees love the flowers. I can not recommend them highly enough - Sunday, March 13, 2011Very sweet Reviewed By: Lesley (Boyce, VA) I bought this last spring. It came as a brown stick. I was a bit worried that it wasn't going to prosper, but it proved me wrong. It grew some large branches and we got a handful of fruit that fall. Very good. And different from the red raspberries. Looking forward to getting more this year! |
