Will try one more time, as they seem as though they would be a wonderful crop if successful. Hopefully, second time will be a charm. If not, I'll move on. - Monday, June 01, 2009no gold rush Reviewed By: harold (bradley, maine) not happy with goldrush seed potatoes a lot of them did not come up but my red pontiac seed potatoes from gurneys all came up and really doing well - Tuesday, August 03, 2010loved these Reviewed By: angela (allendale, mi) I think we had to harvest these early, so yield was probably not as good as it could have been. First year planting potatoes, and I am excited to plant these again. Beautiful white flesh and chocolate brown exterior..best mashed potatoes we've ever eaten. I've never described a potato as lovely, but these were! - Tuesday, February 15, 2011great potato Reviewed By: Kristi C (Strathcona, MN) Planted this variety last year and could hardly belive how well they did. Large potatoes, nice flavor, no hollow heart, which I have had problems with in the past. Good yeild, or better than expected. Will plant again. - Friday, August 19, 2011Yum Reviewed By: Jerry (Sebastopol, California) I planted Goldrush two years in a row. I got a great harvest and good sizes. We like the good potato flavor boiled and baked. We'll keep growing this variety, its good for us. Our Irish neighbors think its great also. |
