I planted (1) in P-shade and two in full sun. The (1) in P-shade is doing wonderful...while the other (2) are not showing any signs of growth. I am dissapointed. I have another i planted in a different location that seems to be showing some life. Dont know how long before it takes on that lilac appearance or blooms.  -  Tuesday, July 14, 2009 primrose lilacs Reviewed By: Chuck Fox (Lancaster, OH) We ordered a couple of primrose lilacs (yellow) this spring and they arrived in excellent condition with lush green foliage. They have continued to impress and grow more quickly than I have expected, still keeping lush foliage (better than any other lilacs that we have). Friends have commented on how well they are growing from visit to visit. They are planted in a southern exposure. Impressive plants !
