Conner (Baskerville, Virginia) I ordered Trofeo Beans two years ago because I wanted something different. We had always grown Contenders but these were the best tasting string bean I have ever eaten. I canned over a hundred quarts and had enough seed to plant last year at which time I canned another hundred quarts. I only have 38 quarts left. They grow long, not fat, which makes a great bean for sauteing and salads. We also froze several cups of them last year and they preserved wonderfully!
