great filet bean

First time planted and loved them. Produced a bushel from one short row. Nice, long, and slender, without any spots. All came on at once, so we could pull the plants and plant more!!Makes a great dilly bean!

Just didn't quit

I planted 16 square feet of Trofeo, half in May and half in early June and nearby an equal amount of Jade at the same intervals. I pulled the Jade in July due to powdery mildew - and harvested my last Trofeo in time for Thanksgiving. This variety gave me over 3 quarts of beautiful, disease-free beans.

A Surprise - Twice!

When I opened my Gurney's order, I had been shipped the wrong green bean variety. (Of course, the good folks at Gurney's made it right at once). I planted these anyway, and really enjoyed the slender, deep green, and tasty results. Trofeo was excellent steamed fresh, and stood up well to blanching and freezing. A pleasant surprise - twice!

Unbelievable Yield
Reviewed By: Vicki (Edinburg, VA)
I kept hoping something would kill these plants because they just didn't stop producing perfect long, thin, tasty pods. I only had about 75' of row and we ate and canned so many and I still had some left to give away. No diseases, even the bugs didn't bother them much. Awesome!

Love these beans!

Unbelievable Yield Trofeo was excellent steamed fresh, and stood up well to blanching and freezing. Family loves them flavored with bacon or ham,and potatoes when served with cornbread. Beautiful, disease-free beans. Last year was the first time I planted them and our family fell in love with them. Nice, long, and slender, excellent flavor and without any spots. Grandkids would even try to eat them raw!
