I pulled the Jade in July due to powdery mildew - and harvested my last Trofeo in time for Thanksgiving. Produced a bushel from one short row. Nice, long, and slender, without any spots. All came on at once, so we could pull the plants and plant more!!Makes a great dilly bean!  -  Tuesday, June 23, 2009 It's not a Contender Reviewed By: Bill (Falkville, Alabama) Planted a row of Trofeo and a row of Contender. The Contender put on twice the beans that Trofeo did. About a 70% germination vs. 95% with Contender. Pretty good flavor.
