Sauted with evoo and garlic; toss in slivered almonds to finish! A true delight that grows well in the North. - Friday, November 11, 2011Tasty Beans Reviewed By: Sandy Travis (Harrisville, Michigan) Loved these beans because even if you can't pick when needed they stay slim and don't get big and wasted like most if you miss a picking. Will buy them again. Very Tasty!! - Friday, March 18, 2011Best Green Beans Reviewed By: Kristin (Carthage, IL) These green beans are the best tasting, have the best texture, and are always tender. They grow long, not fat, which makes a great bean for sauteing and salads. We also froze several cups of them last year and they preserved wonderfully! - Friday, March 04, 2011best beans ever Reviewed By: Julia (Pocatello, ID) Loved these beans. Produced all summer long into early fall and tasted great the whole time. By far the best bush beans I've ever grown. - Tuesday, January 25, 2011Best string bean I ever grew Reviewed By: Donna S. Conner (Baskerville, Virginia) I ordered Trofeo Beans two years ago because I wanted something different. We had always grown Contenders but these were the best tasting string bean I have ever eaten. I canned over a hundred quarts and had enough seed to plant last year at which time I canned another hundred quarts. I only have 38 quarts left. This is definately my familys bean of choice and they love them cooked with a little salt and conola oil. |
