Great for indoors as a plant, then outside they add color to the garden. Yes you can eat them, the purple ones seem to be hotter than the red ones, and very good flavor!! I love the colors, they are hot though and yes we did dehydrate them with our other hot peppers, drind them into powder and we do EAT them.
