They didn't -- but I did! These made excellent pies, the delicate flavor lending itself to the addition of chocolate and carmel. They would make an excellent layered pecan pie.  -  Thursday, April 14, 2011 From skeptical to satisfied Reviewed By: Henry (Rosman, North Carolina) My wife convinced me to order this variety because my name is Henry. When they arrived they were all bunched together and not only looked dead but smelled rotten. i thought that this couldn't be right but the directions indicated that this was normal. I soaked them in a vase of water for a day and a half and then planted them just before a rain. They TOOK OFF! They covered a huge section of my garden and then started running way down the hill. It was like english ivy on steroids. Then one day all the leaves died and so I decided to check out the harvest. I got almost 3 bushels of plump, and tasty sweet potatoes. we will be ordering them again. They are mild and tan in color. We both really like this variety.
