Proflific Junebearing strawberries best describes these! Planted mine this year and I already have twice as many of the plants as I ordered from all the runners they made! I love the fact they are not everbearing so I can deal with them in June and not again until the next year. When I can up strawberries or freeze them I prefer to just do it once! Since they bear over several weeks in June I will just throw them in a freezer bag and add to it unless I get enough to can up at once. Great plants Gurneys!

Perfect Berry for Minnesota
Reviewed By: Beverly Snow (Zumbro Falls, Minnesota)
Purchased my first plants in fall of 2007. Have about 2000 plants now and one of the best strawberry patches in SE MN. I use the white Floating row covers and use the light after June first the heavier all fall and winter. I picked my first berries on June 4,2011 this year and they average a little over a quarter in size. They are perfect for Minnesota weather.

I ordered these this spring and had to wait a few days after receiving to plant them because of late snow storms and heavy rain. Even through the adverse weather, these strawberries have thrived, All 25 of them are looking wonderful and have produced tons of blossoms. Although I picked off most of the blossoms for the health of the young plants, I left a few for a little taste test. I can't wait for these juicy berries which were highly recommended to me by others in my area.
