Boy, was I glad that I did! Gurney's Burpless II out produced County Fair. Cucumber beetles left them alone. For 20 years I gave away cuc's. This year I had to buy them. If you are a true gardener you can imagine my horror. Reviewed By: Diane (Council Bluffs, Iowa) Although 2009 was a good cucumber year overall in our area, the Burpless II Hyb. produced huge yields of uniform cukes all summer long. We ate lots and pickled and pickled and pickled! We are enjoying the pickles this winter and so are my family, neighbors and co-workers as I had more than enough to share and for them to make pickles as well. And we had a colder than usual growing season this past year. This is one of our all time favorites.
