Great blueberry bush
Reviewed By: AnnMarie (Ewing, VA)
I have quite a few blueberry bushes. No thorns, no peeling or seeding, not too high to pick without a ladder. And delicious. This bush was planted in front of our screened porch. IT was a tiny stick when it arrived. Now my only problem is I must prune it - it's become over four feet high! Lots of berries. You won't be disappointed if you want a smaller blueberry bush, but do try KaBluey, too, if you have room.

Fantastic

I planted 1 of Gurney's jumbo Semi Dwarf Northland blueberry bushes spring of 2010. I dug a trench, mixed in peat, oak leaves and other assorted organic yard debris along with the original dirt. I also added some granular sulfur. The plant went from three small 10 inch sticks to about 3 feet tall, fat and of green in the first year. The plant survived a harsh winter under4 feet of snow and although misshaped some due to the weight of the snow, it is covered in buds. After this success I also ordered 4 more blueberry bushes from Gurneys this spring, 2011. All 4 were different varieties yet they all arrived on the same day during what turned out to be the perfect weekend to plant them. Nice work Gurney's. I've become obsessed with blueberries. 5 stars.
