However, this year I have shifted and expanded things in my garden. I made an attempt to shift the corn that I was growing in my backyard so it has more attention in the main garden on the side of my home. I tried to transplant over 30 small corn stalks and some of them are bearing the heat in VA right not. I bought this type of corn for buy one get one free so I might just plant some more corn since I already have approx. 25 already planted that are very healthy at this time. So far so good! - Wednesday, January 23, 2008Corn Reviewed By: Mrs. McGuffie (CyFair, Texas) This corn tastes so good, it takes me to cloud 9 and then some. My friend Nolan said it was so good that when he eats it, he explodes at the taste of sweetness. I LOVE IT!!!! - Wednesday, January 30, 2008Cloud 9 AT Hostel Reviewed By: Frank Jones (Hiawassee, GA) We planted 3 crops of corn (bodaciaous, silver queen, cloud 9 in that order)last year and this was the best.Had trouble keeping hiker hands off it but will order only Cloud 9 this year. Yummy! - Thursday, March 20, 2008Simply the Best Reviewed By: Lisa (Bluffton, IN) We've tried a lot of different corn types but will plant nothing but Cloud 9 from now on. It was consistantly sweet and crunchy and didn't seem to get tough on the stalk like other varities - Monday, April 05, 2010Dethroning the Royalty? Reviewed By: Michael (Newnan, GA) For years, Silver Queen has been the standard white sweet corn in the South. We planted one fourth of our corn space in Cloud Nine last year and may never go back to the queen. Cloud Nine outperformed Silver Queen in every measure - Ear size, tip fill, holding quality, you name it. This may be the best white corn variety ever. |
