I warmed the soil with black plastic before they arrived last year and they thrived. I was careful not to overwater them once they were established. Reviewed By: Matt Oravec (Great Success!!!, Ohio) I have ordered these the past two years now and I live near Cleveland, Ohio. Have had GREAT harvests each year. I ended up filling a garbage can with my harvest. Each year I learn a couple things about growing the sweet potatoes which makes harvesting faster and easier. But the ones that lived look good so far will see how they produce.
