We tried it last year and loved it. We freeze loads of it, both on the ear and cut off the ear and it tastes like it just came out of the garden, all winter long. We're planting it again this year. I did have to replant as only half came up but this might have been due to the weather since it had been very dry. The replant all came up and we are enjoying this corn. My extended family all love it!  -  Wednesday, December 12, 2007 Good Results Reviewed By: Tom (Delaware, Ohio) This was the first time I planted sweet corn. Planted 2 lbs. on May 3, then another 2 on May 13th. We didn't get much rain. It still did very well, even without spray or fertilizer. Germination was over 90%, altough some of the second planting struggled. We sold some, , gave some away, froze some and enjoyed a lot of it. Thanks
