Really strong plants
Reviewed By: Mrst (Fort Smith, Arkansas)
It was too cold for these to get going when they should have. Then it was blazing hot. I had lots of leaves and kept watering. Finally I gave up watering and just left the plants on the poles. In November we had beans!! I will start them indoors this year so they can get going before it is too hot.

Bad Luck
Reviewed By: Lisa (Two Harbors, Minnesota)
I have grown beans for many years now, normally bush beans, I thought I would try pole beans once, I'm very sorry I did, I live in zone 4 and I couldn't get these beans to take off for nothing, I normally have more beans then I know what to do with, I think for the 20 seeds I planted I ended up with maybe 2 dozen beans, I will be going back to the push beans.

stringy
Reviewed By: Susan (Wilton, Maine)
I grew both the green and yellow pole beans last year and will not grow this kind again. If you like strings then this is the one to get. The flavor is fine and they canned up ok.
