I am growing as a container plant with a trellis and it seems to like it. It grows fast and so trains very easily. I am disappointed because the variety I bought was advertised as having a blue and green flower. Unfortunately, the plant just flowered this week and the resulting flower was clearly purple. - Wednesday, June 02, 2010very invasive!!! Reviewed By: Lori (Ladson, SC) Very Pretty in bloom. Very invasive...We have removed it's offspring for 7 years and they still grow everywhere. Some plants grow 10 feet away. Neighbors with great lawns are not so welcoming of this plant. Be careful you have it for life! - Sunday, April 25, 2010Beautiful WHEN it Blooms Reviewed By: Elizabeth (Cheyenne, Wyoming) I love the bloom on this plant - when it blooms. And I can't get it to produce any fruit either! I have this plant in my bathroom for the humidity, which has a large sunwindow facing the south. It blooms every 2 months, one or two blooms, but won't produce fruit. I think it's beautifull when it blooms, but the blooms fall off after about 1 week and it just takes so long to get it to bloom again. Very frustrating! - Thursday, January 25, 2007nice plant Reviewed By: Kelly (WIlder, Idaho) Slow to start, but once it started growing, it's been fast to fill out and look beautiful and healthy. - Sunday, September 02, 2007Was gorgeous until... Reviewed By: Kathy (Los Alamos, New Mexico) I ordered one last spring. It was amazingly fast growing, beautiful. But then it died when I went on vacation. I guess it was hidden by the other plants and got overlooked when my friend came to water. I plan on ordering another someday, because I was very satisfied with it before it died. |
