Hofer (Tampa, FL) Perhaps they simply meant that it did not have the strong scent they were expecting. I love jasmine and have two varieties: Winter Jasmine and Confederate Jasmine. Confederate is much more strongly scented. One rule of the thumb ,dont over water any potted plants. Let the soil dry up,untill you see the plant leaves drooping, not dry, then water.You will see buds in 1-2 days, This is true with Hibiscus,Gardinea,Jasmin and most of the tropical plants grown inside. - Tuesday, July 15, 2008hmmm...
