It was a mainstay of my commercial farm and will be in my retiremment kitchen garden. - Sunday, February 11, 2007large and hardy Reviewed By: Joe (Suring, Wi) Large berries on hardy plants, my bare root stock took 3 years to start producing but I didn't have my ground acidified until I planted them, so they took a year to get started good. They love acid soil, so start to acidify your ground before you plant( it may take 2-3 months for acidifiers to take total effect ) and protect plants from deer. Enjoy - Wednesday, May 16, 2007I love this blueberry Reviewed By: James Papas (Coulterville, California) This seems to grow well, and Gurneys came through with some replacements on the few that were broken in shipping. Berries are small, but seems like 2 times as many of them. - Wednesday, May 16, 2007I love this blueberry Reviewed By: James Papas (Coulterville, California) Patriot seems to be one of the fastes growing blueberries I have. They produce well and have been growing good so far. I had some from last year and they are getting big and looking good. I did not pull the fruit of the the ones last year and I think that kept them small in thier first year. Fruit is very very good! - Monday, February 02, 2009the best Reviewed By: John (Williamstown, ma) This is by far the best berries of four different types I have growing - they are all good but this is a great one. The berries are 50% bigger than others. |
